There are many lessons that can be learned from the covid-19 pandemic.

One of those lessons is that our local food pantries are small but mighty.  They saw an urgent need, gathered their volunteers, and served our local community when many families were in need of fresh meat, produce, and other food products.

Four County Community Foundation has initiated an endowed (forever) fund that will stand ready to award future grants to our food pantries for fresh food stock, staples, and appliances for food storage.  The Feeding Families Forever endowment is invested in the market; your donation to this fund will multiply and grow over time.  An annual amount will be made available to serve the community, too!

Joe Worden has been a Foundation Board Trustee for ten years and has had a heart for food security during his tenure.  As he “retires” from his Trustee post, we are honoring his time and service with a Golf Outing that will support our food security effort.

So, what can you do?  Visit our fundraising site here or scan the code:

  1. Donate to the Feeding Families Forever fund.
  2. Sign up to golf on June 18!
  3. If your business or family wishes to sponsor a hole with a $125 donation, please call us at 810-798-0909.  We will be sure to have a sign on the course, with your name on it.
